Fridge temperature monitoring

A door is left ajar overnight or a fridge fails, nobody notices, and in the morning the stock goes in the bin. Pomfy's sensors watch your fridges day and night and notify your phone when the temperature starts to climb.

Pomfy Fridge temperature monitoring

What it does

Wireless sensors go on your fridges and freezers; our team installs them on site.

When a fridge leaves its safe range you get a phone notification, even when the app is closed, at night and on holidays too.

If the temperature keeps rising for a while, you get a "door may have been left open" alert.

If a manual reading differs from the sensor by more than 2°C, you get an alert.

If a sensor loses its connection you are told; it never goes quiet.

Every device's status at a glance: normal, alert, no connection or calibration overdue.

The Maintenance tab tracks each sensor's calibration and support status.

Linked to your daily checks

While a sensor is healthy, the daily fridge check is recorded automatically with no manual reading needed. Every alert is resolved in Daily Checks, and each unit's temperature history is shown on a chart.

Temperature limits

The legal maximum for chilled food is 8°C; 5°C or below is recommended. The sensor measures the air inside the unit; probe readings of food (Prove It) are recorded separately in Daily Checks.
